First train of the day comes at just after 7:00 near Kerrick, TX with a howling NW wind that really chilled my friend and I’s bones.
This is the first of 2 BNSF’s we will see today. (the remainder are all UP)

YARDLEY

On June 20, 2007, I ventured to one of my favorite locations in Amarillo located at Bull Rd. Here BNSF’s Panhandle, Boise City and Red River Valley Subs all meet. This eastbound Z is on the Panhandle Sub which is on the Transcon. In the beginning of the video you can here DS 101 alerting trains on the Panhandle Sub about a malfunctioning crossing gate at MP 535.4.
